Les Caillets

Les Caillets :

a Condrieu with a good balance.

Origin : This cuvee is a homage to our great-gran-father, Frédéric Caillet, who bought the wine estate in 1928.

Sol : granite.

Grape variety : 100% Viognier (white grape variety).

Harvest : manual harvest.

Ageing : aged on fine lees for 7 months in barrels and vats.

Food and wine pairings : You can have a pleasant time tasting this Condrieu with scallop skewers and a mushroom tatin or with chicken with pepper cream.

Tasting advice : with its aromatic notes, Condrieu is also perfect as an aperitif. In order to keep the fruitiness of Viognier as much as possible, open your bottle within the first 5 years of its life.

Comments : our goal is to produce a Condrieu presenting both the aromatic finesse of Viognier and a beautiful balance in the mouth.
