Jancis Robinson :
(18+/20 – vintage 2019) All beautifully balanced and harmonious. (AC)
The Wine advocate : (96/100 – vintage 2018) Maison-Rouge is a showstopper. The palate is concentrated jet supremely silky, smooth and charming, ending long and elegant. Joe Czerwinski.
Alexandre Ma : (96/100 - vintage 2019) After all, the percentage of new barrels really doesn’t matter, in Côte-Rôtie nowadays, the winners are those who can age the barrels like the ladies’ “invisible make-up”. The Domaine Duclaux Maison Rouge is excellent in this respect, with 40% new barrels, but no trace of oak throughout, full of transparency and ultimate elegance.
Jeb Dunnuck : (96/100 – vintage 2018) Powerful nose of darker red and black fruits, dried flowers, graphite and lots of obvious minerality. This is a classy, serious Côte-Rôtie.
Jonathan Livingstone-Learmonth : ***** (vintage 2013) The fruit quality is high, and is clear. It has a delightful, long, precise finish, one that encourages another glass.
The Wine Enthusiast :
(94/100 – vintage 2017) It’s a gorgeously pure-fruited expression of cassis and black cherries edged by perfumed notes of lilac, dried thyme and anise. Intensely concentrated and silken on the finish, it’s lovely young but should improve through 2030 and hold further still.
The Wine Advocate :
(93/100- vintage 2018) Amazing florals dominate the nose of the 2018 Côte-Rôtie La Germine. Violets and peach blossoms join hints of licorice and blueberries, while the medium-bodied palate is supremely silky and charming.
Le Guide des meilleurs vins de France** :

Decanter :
(95/100 – vintage 2015 ) “A wonderful wine, from a great estate ! (Gearoid Devaney) - His wines are thoughtful and savory in style, but with great textural finesse. (Matt Walls)
Jonathan Livingstone-Learmonth : (vintage 2015) There is a suggestion of red blood. The palate is well-knit, travels with a definite sense of purpose, providing sustained juice, inky depth and a fresh, well extended length.
The Wine enthusiast :
95/100 (vintage 2016) "perfumed syrah. Lovely already it should improve through 2030".
Jancis Robinson:
17,5+/20 (vintage 2019) Dark fruits with a sense of spice too. Fragrant violet and ashy snap on the palate, lots of fruit and very finely sculpted tannins. Fresh, zippy and showing a subtle note of black olive and pepper. A succulent and fresh long finish.
Jeb Dunnuck : (94/100- vintage 2019) « I loved Condrieu Les Caillets. It is just a joy to drink.”
Jancis Robinson : (17/20 – vintage 2018) : “with a mineral flintiness that adds an unexpected dimension for Condrieu”.
The Wine Spectator : (94/100 – vintage 2018) “Bring and engaging, with lots of honeysuckle and jasmine flavors”.
Le guide des Meilleurs vins de France : ** (94/100 – vintage 2020) « one of the best Condrieu wines ».
